Once upon a time a girl named Ella lived with her mother Adorina. They were very poor. One day, Ella told her mother that she will go to the forest to collect some fruits and nuts. In the forest, she saw a deer with golden tail and she remembered her mother telling her that “there is a magical deer in the forest with a golden tail.”
Ella ran to the deer and said ‘Oh magical deer, can you fulfill a wish for me ?”. The deer said, “Oh little girl, I am very sorry. My tail is cut by half by a hunter. Without my full tail I cannot do anything”.
“Its Ok”, Said Ella, “I have collected some fruits which is enough for us for a few days.” Then, she looked at the deer’s half tail and said, “Oh No, your cut is so deep.”
Then she took the deer to her cottage and gave medicines and put a bandage on its tail. She took care of the deer for 10 days. On the eleventh day, the deer said ‘Oh Ella, you are a very good girl. You understood me and showed compassion towards me. Thank you very much. In return I will give you a magical box. Whenever you say any favorite things to the box, when you open it, it will be there.”
Ella told “Thank for your gift and I will always remember you in my life”. The deer said, “Its time for me to go. My family will be waiting for me. So both of them told goodbye to each other and went their ways.
Everyone was happy afterwards.
